At The Grand New Delhi, we are celebrating 20 years by caring for each other, taking responsible actions to stop the spread of COVID-19, and protecting our people who choose to stay or live with us. This luxurious hotel in New Delhi is continuing to offer a comforting and enjoyable experience to our guests and a safe workplace for our employees at the hotel.
SAFETY AND HYGIENE PROTOCOLS
We are implementing full-scale enhancements to our already stringent health and safety protocols with the launch of “The Grand Care”. It authenticates our new health and safety program, and provide real-time guidance on the evolving COVID-19 situation.
|Contactless check-in and dining experience to welcome our guests while adhering to social-distancing guidelines.||Masks, hairnets, and gloves are being worn by all team members at all times and changed frequently.|
|Temperature checks of guests and non-guests are taken at the entrance of the hotel.||Hand sanitizers are in place in all guest rooms and in all public areas which include the entrances, lobbies, corridors, etc.|
|Guests are requested to fill the self-declaration form which covers COVID-19 symptoms. Any guest who indicates these symptoms is requested to undergo a medical examination prior to check-in.||All touchpoints in public areas like door handles, railings, taps, elevator buttons, etc. are sanitized continuously.|
|Detailed SOPs are in place in case of a positive COVID-19 case where a guest or an employee needs to be quarantined.|
Doctors are on standby for anyone detected with a positive sign of COVID-19. All supplies and materials are sanitized before being admitted into the hotel premises.
Staff in the kitchens, in-room dining, restaurants, and banquet halls are sanitizing their hands every time they serve food or touch food-related items.
|Washroom cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection is being done with utmost care.|
|Detailed and updated cleaning checklists are being followed and monitored closely.||Cars are sanitized after each use and before entering the hotel.|
|Luggage to be sanitized properly with ULV spraying disinfectant- Virex II / Johnson Diversey.||For the safety of our guests and employees, rooms will be quarantined for 72 hours after check out for self-disinfection and then sanitized and allocated.|
Virex II / Johnson Diversey chemical is being used to disinfect the hotel entrances, employee entrances, as well as various public areas.
|Restaurants have been reconfigured to ensure 6 feet distances are maintained between guests.|
